I spent the weekend writing 2,500 words to apply to j-school, so give me a second before I can post some more original content. In the meantime gaze in awe at The Big Picture's 2009 in photos, which includes the following gem from a recent Mozambican soccer riot.

I wrote a brief synopsis of a similar event way back in 2008, which you can read here, in my very first post. The level of support for this team is insane, considering they kind of suck even by regional standards and have never qualified for the World Cup. Man do I miss that country, my favorite in Africa, and maybe the world.
